About the field of personal injury

The most frequent types of personal injury claims are road traffic accidents, accidents at work, tripping accidents, assault claims, accidents in the home, product defect accidents (product liability) and holiday accidents.

But personal injury claims may also involve medical and dental accidents (medical negligence claims), and industrial disease cases, which range from asbestosis and chest diseases (e.g., emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma) through to vibration white finger, occupational deafness, occupational stress, and repetitive strain injury cases.

This website is for students covering the field of personal injury law in the UK, either as part of their LL.B/Masters or for a practice course such as the LPC. This website also provides information to help claimants who are considering making a claim for one of the above types of injury.

The information contained on this website is provided as-is and is not intended to be relied upon as legal or professional advice.
